The answer is yes! We are quite certain it is one or the other. Neither of our families has a history of hermaphroditism, pseudohermaphroditism, or asexuality, so it's almost certainly a boy or a girl.
According to this article, it is possible to know the sex of a child at 6 weeks. More conventionally, people are generally able to find out between 17 and 20 weeks. So we have to wait a bit.
Karin seems to be feeling a little better today. For example, she hasn't vomited all day. I'm not a doctor but that seems to me to be a good sign. Of course, that may just be the Diclectin talking.
